Following details are meant for people who are thinking of buying a yacht.
Designed of: van de Stadt, Netherland
The "Pinta" is build over 42 ribs; all of them are equipped with belt-linked floor timber.
Waterproofed welded bulkheads separate all cabins. The tanks are integrated in the double floor and can be cleaned easily by the use of big holes. The water tanks and petrol tanks are inner coated, based on concrete paint.
The hull is all over sand blasted (inside and out). Painted outside with 2x coats of 2-component zinc coat and inside with 4x coats Teer-Epoxid and insulated with 8cm 2-componente PU foam which is applied by an industrial spray application. There is no condensation water and this allows the boat to be used during the wintertime.
All winches, fans etc. built on VA-basis in order to avoid rust. The thickness of the hull depends on amount of ribs (4mm), in the keel area it is 6mm, in the keel bottom it is 10mm.
The bow is rolled from 8mm material. The yacht is buckling resistance; you almost could say it is "ice proofed".
The end of the breastwork is a VA rectangle tube, the inserted eyes for the fasteners are reinforced of INOX round material, the clamps all rig irons for ribs and stages made of INOX.
The rudder shaft is made of VA and reinforced.
The propeller shaft is in the engine room and thrust bearing seated; outside with a rubber propeller shaft within a bearing block, it is connected by a cardan shaft to the gearbox.
The chest's cover is made of plastic, but for the forepeak made of aluminium. The covers of the forepeak and aft peak have inside laying hinges (system automotive).
Adapter for the echo sounder is made of INOX and welded into the hull, the anterior is possible for all oscillators.
In and outlets for the motor are made of INOX and welded into the hull.
The engine is well accessible by a door, as well as by a floor hatch in cockpit made of aluminium and fixed from the inside with wing nuts.
The fasteners for the seating are welded with special made VA-nuts (in order to avoid rust)
Reeling is made of 25mm INOX tube
The bow metal fittings make it available to drive with 2 anchors.
The capstan, fabricated by Maxwell, seated with the engine and relays box well reachable in the fore cabin, the chain inlet goes to the forepeak with an INOX tray with separate water outlet.
The forepeak and chests were sand blasted and painted 3 years ago.
The interior is made of German quality plywood (company Sommerfeldt & Thiele with certificate); all panels are veneered with special assorted wooden inlay. The construction is made of teak and in excellent condition. Much storage capacity!
The deck is overlaid with rubber cork plates (should be improved).
The washbasins can be pumped out even when heeled over via the toilets.
